Volcanic ash and flight disruptions

I had good timing with my flight from Toronto via Reykjavik to Frankfurt. Two days before and beyond the airport of Island was closed, but I had seen the ash cloud of the volcano from a distance.

At home we celebrated mums birthday and I was very happy about my granddaughter.

Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy, so I always tested the weather, before I went out or I stayed next to the warm tiled stove.
