Delft, the beauty

I cycled beside canals to Delft.

With its canals, bridges and pretty places it reminds of Venice, however, more comfortable. There also is a crooked tower and the smallest museum of the world. The “Nieuwe Kerk” contains the tomb of William of Orange, the founder of the Netherlands and almost all members of the royal family were buried next to him.

In this very nice town not only the Delftware was invented, but also the microscope. Besides the technical university is very famous. The students are approx. 20% of the population, have their own party and even 2 seats in the town parliament.
