Out of school I spent my first week relaxing and reworking my reports. Two times I played the creole drums at Jimmy`s. We were 6 students and Jimmy thaught us 3 different rhythms, with pleasure and patience. I wish you for your studies such a patient and friendly teacher and if you are a teacher, enjoy teaching like Jimmy did. At least his mother fed us with local specialities.
At Friday we saw him and his friends drumming with enthusiasm at St. Anne. Near midnight we went to a breath-taking concert at Pointe-à-Pitre.
First I was afraid following a feeling for booking these drum lessons, but at the end I gained a lot from these meetings.
