In Kaiserslautern I liked the Peace Angel in a church, in Saarbrücken the mixture from New and Old and in 
Sarrguemines the pedestrian zone.
On the first days we cycled along the Saar canal with its many watergates and spent the nights nearby lakes.
A chilly bath 
made me quickly fit for the day. We were surprised how natural people changed from Lorraine dialect to French.
