In TRIER the varied historical buildings and their size, e.g., Porta Nigra, Cathedral and Basilica impressed us. We liked the imposing but simply decorated Basilica very much.
Along the MOSELLE and SAUER we cycled to SAARBURG where I took Anette over the waterfall and ate Saarburger Apfelstrudel.
Afterwards we had “a race” with a cruise vessel.
