Bergen on Fire

The centre of Bergen often burnt down in former time because the houses were built very tight. But the houses were always rebuilt in the same style, so you get an impression of the original town.

Merchants of the Deutsche Hanse lived in Double rows of houses and sold their goods. One house could be visited also from the inside.

Wandering from the house mountain I had great views of the town and the fjord.
