On the highest railway line of Norway (1237m) I went to Myrdal, with glaciers to overcast mountains. By Flamsbana I went from 622 m to sea level, often 1 m of height loss on 18m, 20 km length, 20 tunnels (18 dug by hand!), 20-year construction time.
At a waterfall train even held for a photo stop. Suddenly there was mystic music all around and a fairy danced for us.
