Coming from Reims I looked with the eyes of a tourist on my capital (from Baden-Württemberg) Stuttgart. It scored many plus points:
Info centre at the exit of the railway station, 3-days ticket for buses and trams (10.30 €), several favorable lodgings (e.g. Interhostel), signs in English.
The Bohnenviertel (Bean quarter) emitted a comfortable atmosphere and its street cafés reminded me at Paris.
In the art callery I was impressed by some video artists, most Yves Netzhammer and William Kentridge.
