Not by bike!
The first day I was with ferry, coach and on foot on the way to the most popular beaches in the southwest. This was very uncomfortable, so I rented a car for the next days.
I was body surfing at „Le Diamond“, but I didn´t find an accommodation. So I drove along the south coast. A man who wants to stay 2-3 days is only seen with pleasure at hotels (80 € / day upward). Finally, I slept in my Citroen on the only campsite of Martinique in Saint Anne. It is a nice little town by the sea.
